I have been in private practice in New Braunfels, Texas, since 1981. Through the years I have contributed to the local medical community by accepting the position of hospital Chief of Staff, and serving on various hospital committees. I am a member of the staff of The House of Hope, a charitable medical/dental clinic in New Braunfels. Also, it is my pleasure to be joining in the ministry of a well respected expert in vasectomy reversals, Dr. Cary L. Leverett. Children have always been a special focus of mine. They are a huge portion of my private orthopaedic practice. There is not a child I will not care for. I have been blessed with three wonderful children. Children are blessings from God. As my children were growing up, I was the Boy Scout Leader for the troop affiliated with my church. I also have spent the last 25 years serving as the team doctor for the local high school athletes. Additionally, I have financially sponsored numerous local athletic teams – church volleyball, girl’s softball, girl’s and boy’s soccer, flag football, Little League Baseball – to name a few.

I grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, where I spent my childhood attending Catholic school, and I spent my early high school years attending a Catholic minor seminary. During this time, my interest in the world of science began to grow. It was during this time I realized God was sending me in another direction. My time spent at the University of Texas at Austin studying biology prepared me for my years spent in medical school and the rigors of additional surgical training.
